World-renown, globally-loved leader of millions of Muslim Americans has returned to Allah --- his presence will truly be missed by many.

Innal Lil Lah Wa innal Lahee Rajeeoon

The news came to many in Atlanta upon completing Thuhr salat at Atlanta Masjid of Al-Islam.  Imam Plemon El-Amin said that, while many of us had gathered to attend the funeral of a beloved young brother, we would be making two janazzah prayers.  He announced that our teacher, Imam W. D. Muhammed, had returned to Allah.  The janazzah prayers were said amidst tears and sniffles.  There were few, if any, dry eyes in the entire Masjid upon hearing of the leader’s passing.
